Terms of Service — Nalam AI

Welcome to Nalam AI ("we," "us," "our," "Nalam AI"), operated by Nalam AI Trading (SSM registered), based in Malaysia. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of nalam.com.my and all related services, tools, and features (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using Nalam AI, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nalam AI. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service, especially for account creation and payments.

• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to bypass credit limits or free-tier restrictions is not allowed.
• You're responsible for all activity under your account.

Nalam AI provides AI-powered tools including but not limited to text generation, image generation, document creation, presentation building, voice/text-to-speech, and an AI study companion (Nalam Guru), along with links to free third-party tools.

Free tools directory: Some tools listed within Nalam AI link out to third-party websites (e.g., PDF or image editing tools). We are not affiliated with, and do not control, these third-party services. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

• Nalam AI operates on a credit-based system. Free accounts receive a monthly credit allowance; paid plans (Basic, Student, Pro) receive higher allowances for a monthly subscription fee.
• Subscription payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand.
• Refunds: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by Malaysian consumer law, or where we charged you for a generation that failed to complete. Contact hello@nalam.com.my if you believe a charge was made in error.
• We reserve the right to change pricing or credit allowances with reasonable notice.

• Content generated by Nalam AI (text, images, documents, etc.) is produced by artificial intelligence and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific use.
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before relying on it, especially for academic, legal, medical, financial, or professional purposes.
• Nalam AI does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content and is not liable for decisions made based on it.

You agree not to use Nalam AI to:

• Generate illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing content
• Attempt to bypass credit limits, rate limits, or security measures
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the Service
• Use the Service to harm minors or generate content that sexualizes or exploits minors
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

• You retain ownership of content you input into Nalam AI and, subject to applicable law, the outputs generated for you, except where third-party rights apply (e.g., AI training data restrictions).
• Nalam AI, its logo, and branding are the property of Nalam AI Trading.

Nalam AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any external tools linked within our free tools directory (e.g., iLovePDF, Smallpdf, PDF24, Fadr, iLoveIMG). All trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners.

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Nalam AI and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
